For over the past 20 years we have provided flags throughout the main highway of our town. This year Southern California Edison has come down Highway 18 and replaced several of our power poles. The outside contractor was asked to reinstall the flag hangers or bring them to the Chamber Office. As of Veteran's Day we have not received a single one.
We have been in contact with Edison to solve this problem. Hopefully, by the next holiday Lucerne Valley will be able to proudly display our country’s pride. We apologize for this mishap.
Over the years we have received many compliments and Thank you's for displaying are flags. We are a proud community when it comes to our country. Many Lucernvaliens have served our country and we show our pride for not only them but for those who served in the entire country as well.
