CAR GATHERING: The monthly Car Gathering visited — and patronized — a new establishment in Lucerne Valley — the new Kallans Bar and Grill at the intersection of Highway 18 and Old Woman Springs Road. The restaurant is located where the former Y Saloon was located for many years. Car Gathering participants, which included organizer Jean Magee, stalwarts Lorane and JL Abercrombie and friends (newcomers always welcome), enjoyed Kallans' cuisine that includes hamburgers, salads and more.
