The Lucerne Valley FFA held its biggest banquet ever with 205 members and guests attending on Monday, May 9 in the high school's Brian L. Walker Gymnasium.
As is customary, FFA advisor/Ag teacher Mr. Troy Van Bavel served as master of ceremonies.
The new chapter officer team was introduced, and outgoing officers ceremoniously congratulated and encouraged them. The new officers: Keagan Weis, president; Madison Redding, vice-president; Chelsea Nakahiro, secretary; Diego Orozco, treasurer; Alexa Walkovitz, reporter; and Hollie Lopez, sentinel.
New Section Officers from the chapter are Alexa Walkovitz, president; Keagan Weis, vice-president; and Madison Redding, secretary. Alexa Walkovitz was named Regional vice-president.
Sara Sullivan is Past Chapter Officer National Proficiency Finalist for Equine Science.
Billy Mack of Victorville Motors was inducted at this year's Honorary Member. Keynote speaker was Samuel Looper, Past High Desert Section President, Southern California President, and newly Elected State Treasurer.
