Lucerne Valley Unified School District Business Director Douglas Beaton will present the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) at the Tuesday, June 7 meeting of the Lucerne Valley Economic Development Association. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at the Senior Center.

"The District needs our stakeholder responses, and this is a great opportunity for us to learn about the process and comment," said LVEDA president Chuck Bell.

Also, Tony Malone, who is a local expert on renewable energy, will speak on the issues, impacts and cumulative impacts of the two existing and the two proposed solar projects along Camprock Road in Lucerne Valley. (Malone previous gave this informative presentation at the recent meeting of the Lucerne Valley-Johnson Valley Municipal Advisory Council.)

Additionally at the LVEDA meeting, the consultant preparing the preliminary needs assessment for the town's proposed senior housing project will present the data and analysis of the proposal. The normal updates, such as our LV Community Plan, water hauling, and renewable energy plans, also will be made during the meeting, which typically runs until 7 p.m.
