Lucerne Valley voters went to the polls on Tuesday.
Among Republican's presidential choices were Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, John R. Kasich and Jim Gilmore. The Democrats had the choice of Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and several others.The American Independent, Green, Libertarian, and Peace and Freedom parties also fielded presidential candidates.
Incumbent District 8 Congressman Paul Cook went against challenger Tim Donnelly and others, and several other races were held, including U.S. Senator, State Senator, Assembly, a Superior Court judge position and Proposition 50.
Incumbent Third District Supervisor James C. Ramos faced a challenge from Donna Muñoz. Nearby, First District Supervisor Robert A. Lovingood faced several challengers including Angela Valles, Bill Holland, Rick Roelle and Paul Russ.
