A power outage affecting 320 Lucerne Valley households began Saturday afternoon and was expected to last well into the night, according to Southern California Edison estimates.
The unplanned outage started at 12:41 p.m. and most customers should have their power back by 10 p.m. tonight, according to the SCE website.
The Leader has received unconfirmed reports that a vehicle hit a utility pole and caused the outage. SCE's website simply states that the outage is due to "equipment problems."
