A damaged vehicle rests on Highway 18 following an early morning traffic collision near LaGartijo Drive in Apple Valley. The location is near Highway 18 and Bear Valley Cutoff. According to a witness, the vehicle collided with a large cement truck, shown on the left. The accident was first reported at 3:51 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.
