
LUCERNE VALLEY — With 20 percent of the ballots counted, Mavrick Von Haug and Tom Courtney are leading the Lucerne Valley Unified School District’s school board race with 333 votes (26.37%) and 332 votes (26.29%), respectively.
But the other two candidates, Jean Morgan and Ruben Medina aren’t far behind. Morgan has 302 votes (23.91%) while Medina has 296 (23.44%). A total of 1,263 votes have been counted so far.
These results were posted on the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters website at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
More updates are expected throughout the night, with a final tentative count around 6 a.m. tomorrow morning.
