Congratulations to Mavrick Von Haug (700 votes) and Tom Courtney (628 votes) on their election and reelection to the Lucerne Valley Unified School District Governing Board. Their commitments to serve our community, in what can often be a difficult job, is commendable and they and the School Board have my full support.
I was thrilled to see that 586 voted for me. It's like finding out you have more friends than you ever imagined. Ruben Medina also had more than 500 votes and he has my congratulations for a campaign well run.
Special thanks goes out to the following who gave me permission to post signs on their property. Raymond Register, across from Post Office; Herald Keesee, across from the Elementary School, Hamburger Depot; Portal Motel and Lucerne Valley Market and Hardware. And, a grateful thanks to the unknown person who remounted my sign across from the Post Office.
