Lennon: Through A Glass Onion — Part-concert and part-biography, this two-hander featuring West End star Daniel Taylor and Stewart D’Arrietta, showcases 31 hits of Lennon and Lennon/McCartney including “Imagine,” “Revolution” and “Jealous Guy” in a kaleidoscope collage of song, word and emotion. It is a celebration of one of the most distinct voices of his generation: John Lennon.

2. Doo Dah Parade — Everybody knows about the Pasadena Rose Parade, claimed to be the most watched parade broadcast in the world. That's what they say, anyway. But what about Pasadena's OTHER parade"the Doo Dah? An out of-this-world event that's 88 years younger, sexier and a whole lot funner is unleashed onto the streets of Pasadena's E. Colorado Boulevard on. In a previous event a parade queen contest was held and Patrizzi Intergarlictica wooed tough judges with her killing cockroaches dance to the lyrics of a Queen song, another one bites the dust. She and her out of order ATM machine may lead the parade filled with floats, marching groups and decked out, modified vehicles.
When: Sunday, 11 a.m.
Where: The parade route is between Altadena and San Gabriel Boulevards on E. Colorado. Come early, bring lawn chairs and stay for the after parties
