FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD: A caller reported on July 30 at 5:46 p.m. that her brother had fraudulently put $10,000 on a family member’s credit card. The report was in the 10000 area of Rex Road.
THEFT: A caller reported someone stole an air conditioning unit from a location in the vicinity of Old Woman Springs Road and Midway Avenue. The report was made on July 29 at 3:50 p.m.
NEIGHBOR DISPUTE: A caller said her neighbor in the 10000 area of Medanos Avenue threatened to hit her dogs with a shovel. When deputies arrived, the reporting party said she would be going to court to iron out the issue with the neighbor. The call was made at 8:13 a.m. on July 29.
ILLEGAL ENTRY: An owner of a restaurant in the 30000 area of Old Woman Springs Road said gang signs apparently written with purple shoe polish were found in the restroom. The report was made at 2:23 p.m. on July 28.
MUSIC DISTURBANCE: A resident reported that a neighbor was blasting music all day in the 9000 area of Buena Vista Road. When deputies arrived at 11:26 on July 27 all was quiet.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: Tools and oil were taken from a residence in the 10000 area of Paz Road while the reporting party was in the hospital, according to the caller, who made the report at 10:29 a.m. on July 27. The caller said he believed a female tenant had taken the items.
DISTURBANCE: A woman wearing a brown blouse and white skirt reportedly harrassed customers at a gas station in the 30000 area of Highway 18, according to a caller who reported the incident at 10:03 a.m. on July 27. By the time deputies arrived, however, the woman had been picked up by an unknown driver.
MUSIC DISTURBANCE: Loud mariachi music reportedly was coming from a home in the 30000 area of Spinel Road, according to a neighbor who called at 9:43 p.m. on July 26.
BURGLARY: A home in the 9000 area of Chickasaw Trail was ransacked after someone forced entry, according to a caller who reported the incident at 12:28 p.m. on July 26.
SHOTS HEARD: A caller reported hearing five consecutive gunshots followed by a single shot in the 30000 area of Bullrush Road. The call was taken at 10:03 p.m. on July 25.
PROWLER: A caller in the 3000 area of Zircon Road reported hearing someone in her backyard. Deputies were unable to find anyone when they arrived at the location at 2:06 a.m. on July 25.
THEFT: A residential tenant in the 30000 area of Highway 18 said her landlady had removed her property from the location. She wanted to know her rights as a tenant who hasn’t paid rent. Deputies advised her of her rights. The call was made at 2:06 p.m. on July 24.
GRAND THEFT: Approximately 75 fence posts and fencing was reportedly stolen from a ranch in the 4000 area of Rattlesnake Canyon Road, according to a resident who called at 1:54 p.m. on July 24.
