The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deadly shooting and attempting locate the victim’s family.
According to a Sheriff’s Department news release on Thursday, deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 12:20 p.m. Monday in the 9600 Block of Santa Fe Fire Road in Lucerne Valley.
A man was found dead at the location. The body has been identified but officials will not release the identity until his family is notified.
