One good thing about making errors or omissions in the newspaper business is the opportunity to “make good.” I need to make a few apologies here and hopefully do a little to make amends.
First, my apologies to Cafe 247 owner Shirley Althide, who hosted last Thursday’s Car Gathering. I recall receiving the notice for “What’s Happening” from organizer Jean Magee, but I didn’t realize it didn’t get into the section until it was too late. I’m very sorry. I’ve included a photo of the cars in front of Cafe 247 below.
Due to time constraints, I was unable to include the names of the Eagle Leadership students who received the “Buddy Bench” from the FFA officers.
