LVEDA meeting
to be held on Feb. 3
The monthly meeting of the Lucerne Valley Economic Development Association will be held at 5 p.m. on Feb. 3 at the Senior Center.
The meeting will feature the possible presentation by Assemblyman Obernolte’s staff regarding their legislative agenda, introduce them to our state-related issues, etc. Also Desert Solar is expected to give a presentation on a solar and alternative generation project for the Lucerne Valley Market. Also discussed will be options for home solar, projected SCE rates – etc.
Big Yard Sale
at Senior Center
A Big Yard Sale will be held Friday, Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 7 starting at 8 a.m. On Saturday, breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m.
Bisquits and gravy $4, omelettes with ham and cheese and all the fixin’s, $5.
The yard sale will include furniture and other miscellaneous items.
The Senior Center is located behind the Janice Horst Branch Library at Highway 247 and Allen Way.
Just Jewelry Craft Show Postponed
The Just Jewelry Craft Show, which was scheduled for next weekend, has been postponed. The next Just Jewelry Craft Show will be held May 1 and 2.
You will be able to find beautiful handmade jewelry that are one of a kind and you will be able to chat with the artists who made them.
The Senior Center is located behind the Janice Horst Branch Library at Highway 247 and Allen Way in Lucerne Valley.

LVCC Youth Overnight Camp
Local youth from 6th through 12th grade are invited to participate in the Lucerne Valley Community Church Youth Overnight Camp.
This Weekend of Service will take place Feb. 12-15.
The Weekend of Service gives youth an opportunity to serve the Lucerne Valley community mission field through a large variety of projects. Participants will have the chance to make friends and memories during their three-night stay at Lucerne Valley Community Church.

Bee Keeper at Garden Club
Bee keeper Penny Harper of Helendale will share her expertise on bees and hives at the next meeting of the Desert Crossroads Garden Club on Thursday, Feb. 12, 9:30 a.m., at the Lucerne Valley Community Center.
