Lucerne Valley Museum is proud to announce our new "Evening Desert" series beginning Monday, June 8 from 6-8 pm. Our first presentation is by Clay Elam of Yucca Valley who is an Ethno-botanist. His study includes historical uses of herbs by nomadic tribes of the region. He is currently working on a "permaculture team" in Yucca Valley/Morongo Valley -- a sustainable way of living that follows the path of 'earth care, people care, fair shares' as they look for ways to reduce water while keeping our lands healthy.
This presentation is free to the public and light refreshments will be available. Join us at LV Community Center. For info call 760 248-6777. Watch for other presentations this summer.
