Majority Rules Pancake Breakfast on June 6
The annual Majority Rules Pancake Breakfast will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 6 at the Lucerne Valley Lions Club.
Tickets are $5. All proceeds go to Majority Rules' summer trip to Rhode Island.
Parking lot sale on June 13
Several stores in the Lucerne Valley Shopping Center will hold a parking lot sale on Saturday, June 13.
The sale will include jewelry, lapidary rough and slabs, hobbies, arts and crafts and more.
The Lucerne Valley Shopping Center is located at 32770 Old Woman Springs Road.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection on June 20
Household Hazardous Waste Collection will be held on Saturday, June 20 from 9 a.m. to noon behind the Lucerne Valley fire stations. Items: anti-freeze/oil/oil filters/batteries/paint(latex only)/all electronic wastes/fluorescent bulbs/medical needles. No trash, chemicals, tires, etc.
"Red, White & Boom!" Independence Day event on July 3
Lucerne Valley Parks and Recreation is once again happy to announce the annual Red White & Boom Independence Day Event. This year it will be held on Friday, July 3, Pioneer Park from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The evening will include lots of family fun—a flag retirement ceremony, games, bounce house, food vendors, concert and of course, topping off the evening, FIREWORKS!!

Inland Counties Legal Services to visit Lucerne Valley on July 28
Inland Counties Legal Services will visit Lucerne Valley Outreach Center on Tuesday, July 28. Check-in is 9 a.m.
The agency provides legal services to eligible senior citizens and low-income california residents in civil matters only. Services are free or for a small voluntary donation.
Inland Counties Legal Services advises on collection defense, dissolution of marriage (including custody/vistation and support issues), paternity, District Attorney support matters, guardianship, conservatorship, Nursing Home Issues, Social Security and Supplementary Security Income (SSI), Food Stamps, Cal-Works, Medi-Cal (estate claims, liens and eligibility), landlord tenant issues (including eviction defense), estate planning (simple wills, health and financial powers of attorney), probate issues and real property issues.
The service does not handle criminal or traffic matters.
The remaining schedule: Sept. 22 and Nov. 24.

First Mountain Bank "Pay It Forward" to Lucerne Valley FFA
First Mountain Bank is proud to sponsor Lucerne Valley FFA Program at LVHS through our “ Pay It Forward Program." All donations will be matched by First Mountain Bank. All monies will go towards the program and replacing items needed.
Unfortunately the programs shop was broken into and thousands of dollars worth of equipment was stolen, which they are still trying to replace. FFA is a wonderful program for the High School, kids and our community. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
