SAN BERNARDINO — The unofficial results of today's local school board election will posted on the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters website tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. Officially, the finalized results — following numerous updates — will be posted in more than a week.

But there's a lot of counting going before tomorrow morning's unofficial tally and after.

Tonight at 8:05 p.m., results for most of the mail ballots prior to the election will be posted. At 10 p.m., mail ballots received on Election Day morning, and results for ballots cast by noon, will be added to the results. Then, at midnight, additional polling place ballots will be added to the results with additional updates at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. Wednesday. Finally, the final unofficial night results will be posted at 6 tomorrow morning.

The Registrar will post additional updates on Thursday, next Monday and on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Additional updates will be posted as needed with dates and times to be determined. Date and time of the final certified election results will be determined at a later date.

The local school board election has four candidates vying for two seats. The candidates are incumbents Tom Courtney and Mavrick Von Haug who are being challenged by Jean Morgan, who previously served on the board several years ago, and Ruben Medina, a local parent and businessman.
