Veterans Monument Honorarium Booklet Deadline
Honorariums to be included in the Veterans Monument Honorarium Booklet must reach a Monument Committee member no later than April 1st in order to be included in the commemorative booklet. There will be no exceptions due to printing requirements. Each honorarium is $25.00. Committee members will be on the porch at Lucerne Valley Market on March 1st, 8am-1pm, with bake sale items and honorarium forms for those who still wish to participate.
The Lucerne Valley Veterans Monument will be dedicated on May 26th (Memorial Day) at 10 a.m. in Pioneer Park. Please call Committee Chairperson, Patti Riddle, with questions. 760-248-7062.
Swap Meet at
Rabbit Dry Lake
The Third Annual Swap Meet at Rabbit Dry Lake will be held at 9 a.m. on Feb. 9 at the flying field of Rabbit Dry Lake.
Sell and buy anything that has to do with modeling engines, kits, ARFs, electrics, magazines, whatever you want to get rid of.

LV T.O.P.S. CA 1066 Open House
Lucerne Valley T.O.P.S. CA 1066 will have an open house at 9 a.m. on Feb. 10. Come to see how we can lose weight, have fun, find friends and how we support one another. Past members are welcome to attend.
The event will be held at the Lucerne Valley Community Church, 10375 Ladera Road.
Water workshops
The Mojave Water Agency and California Rural Water Association are co-sponsoring two no-cost workshops for operators of local water companies.
Both informational meetings will be held at the Community Center, 33187 Old Woman Springs Road.
The second workshop, “Regulatory Update and Basic Hydrogeology,” will be held on Feb. 26.
The workshop will cover existing water system, reviewing operator and system certification and requirements, the components of hydrologic process and understanding the quanity and availability of water.

Lucerne Valley Clubhouse
Lucerne Valley Clubhouse is now open Monday through Friday, 12:30 to 5:18 p.m.
The clubhouse is open for business and the staff looks forward to a visit from former and new clubhouse members and friends from the community. The public is invited to stop in and learn about the program.
The location will soon have a snack bar and will be having potlucks, future outings, friends and family days, holiday celebrations, groups and more.
The Lucerne Valley Clubhouse is run by Pacific Clinics, which has other clubhouses in San Bernardino and Yucca Valley.
