His Closet Ministries is having a yard sale on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7 and 8. Unique and unusual items, antiques, as well as clothing and household goods will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.
“Many of items will be featured, which are not part of our regular offerings of new and gently-used items,” said founder Donna Guisa.
Items will start as low as 25 cents Donations of items and cash will also be taken during the giant yard sale.
“His Closet Ministries offers a wide variety of free items to the general public,” added Guisa, “but it is still very expensive to give things away.”
His Closet provides clothing, furniture, medical devices, food (when available and by appointment only), as well as a host of other items. Donated items are given away freely, with exception of fundraisers such as His Closet’s first yard sale. Funds raised are destined toward general operating expenses and upgrades, as the ministry is only supported by individual donors.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays for donations and give-aways. Special hours for the yard sale are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday only.
His Closet is located at 34551 State Highway 18.. For more information, call 760-248-7070 or at Hisclosetministries@gmail.com.
