For the third year in a row, the Lucerne Valley Elementary School Booster Club provided a special treat for students on the last day of school.
The club held is End of the Year Carnival last Friday.
The fun began with the kindergartners at 9 a.m. and the rest of the school joined the fun at 9:30.
Boosters sold pre-sale tickets in the weeks leading up to the event.
The carnival was made possible by the help of the local business community, according to LVES Booster Club President Keri Lindner. Those businesses included the Lucerne Valley Market & Hardware, Artic Glacier Ice Company, XRoads BMX, Butcher Block and the firefighters from Station 8.
Lindner and her club members are working on plans for an expanded Fall Festival next November.
